If you are confronted by a serious problem such as severe chest pain, severe bleeding, collapse or unconsciousness CALL AN AMBULANCE.
Telephone 999 before calling the doctor – we will try to be with you as soon as possible.
Chest Pain
Tight or heavy chest pain spreading to the arms or jaw with nausea, shortness of breath and a feeling of being cold and clammy, may indicate a heart attack. RING 999 immediately and consult your Doctor
Stroke
The main symptoms can be remembered with the word FAST.
- Face - may have fallen on one side, mouth or eye may have drooped
- Arms – may not be able to raise both arms
- Speech – may be slurred
- Time – Call 999
